PES_Golly was meant as 'show the way' template, hoping to give more skilled participants in #BAUniC an example to guide the development of their projects and state their needs. It was not meant to win. I wish we can do better next year.
The template will stay on as it is. I thank you for the encouragement votes. The powers granted through those will be used wisely in #BAUniC2017 and future competitions.

PES Golly for #BAUniC

This is the PES Golly project for #BAUniC at baunic.blogspot.com

If you know how to use Golly, you can directly skip to step 5.

Tests are done on x86, Windows platform. Everything should work also on other platforms. Feel free to try out combinations.

Step 1: Buy a PC with Intel or AMD processor, x86 or x64. Anything that can be bought today should work.

Step 2: Install Windows7 on it. It will work on older or newer windows', but I am sharing my own experience of it.

Step 3: Get your copy of the 'Golly' program

3c) Click on 'Download golly-2.7-win.zip (3.9 MB)'

Step 4: Extract/open Golly
4a) Right click on the .zip downloaded in step3. Extract through your archiving program, or even the windows' integrated one dealing with .zip files.

4b) Go to the extracted folder, find Golly.exe , run it.

Express your creativity on various Game Of Life clone combinations.
